Storing vital products with care

Join Vopak in Asia & Middle East. Make an impact.

Your role and impact:

Vopak is storing vital products with care. Our work enables people across the globe to meet basic needs and live better lives. We want to store the vital products of today and the new vital products of tomorrow. Today, we store chemicals, oil, gasses, biofuels and edible oils. For the future, we are developing new infrastructure solutions to actively contribute to the energy transition with the introduction of new vital products, such as low- and zero-carbon new energies and sustainable feedstocks.

An important element of Vopak's strategy is to accelerate capex investments in new energies and sustainable feedstocks. Carbon capture, storage and sequestration is one business line, others are hydrogen supply chains with different carriers (LH2, NH3 and LOHC), long duration energy storage (flow batteries) and plastic recycling (pyrolysis) to sustainable feedstock.

As our Technical/Project Manager, you will go out with the business development team to engage with multiple customers and stakeholders. You will follow-up on such engagements by translating commercial and operational requirements into sound project baselines of scope (BoD), cost and schedule. You will become part of Vopak's global New Energies, Projects and Engineering community where the latest knowledge on CCS, hydrogen, LDES and plastic recycling is collected and shared.

For the advanced projects, you are ready to be assigned to the project delivery team during the definition (FEED) and execution (construction & commissioning) phase. Willingness to travel or work abroad is therefore important.
