Responsibilities:

  • Support Terminal IT/OT services, network, systems and servers with special attention on OT Infrastructure.

  • Support day-to-day operational requirements and administration of Singapore's IT/OT infrastructure.

  • Investigate questions relating to existing IT/OT services, network, processes and procedures.

  • Responsible for compliance with IT/OT security, policies and standards.

  • Manage project and vendor management for IT/OT system implementation.

  • Maintain and manage IT/OT related assets. 

  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement and maintenance.

  • Assess current technology, solutions and business practices, interpret internal practices to align business requirements.

  • Participate in the implementation of local and global IT/OT projects as assigned by the IT/OT Manager.

  • Technical lead on design, engineering and Implementation in coordination with operational and project related activities. 

  • Providing Technical support on DCS automation matters.

  • Review Instrumentation sizing and specification datasheet fit to the process flow diagram and Piping & Instrument Diagram

  • Prepare cost estimates on DCS automation Project, help evaluate vendor submission technical and commercial proposals.

  • Provide technical support for a 3 years maintenance plan (engineering solution, cost optimization).

  • Maintain and upgrade DCS/SIS (spare parts optimization, service contract review, system upgrading)

  • Maintain a central repository with all servicing records by automation suppliers to be used for investigation/follow-up on Terminal Automation supplier's overall performance.

  • Conduct Training of DCS and SIS for technicians (new hires/refreshers).

  • Support local departments on IT/OT services and needs.

  • Train & guide juniors and/or vendors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronic or Control Instrumentation Engineering.

  • At  least 3 years' experience in OT systems.

  • Proven working experience with at least one of the following DCS systems (ABB 800XA, Yokogawa CENTUM VP, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion) in an operational environment.

  • Technical knowledge of software and hardware aspects of IT/OT in areas such as data management, information systems development, computer operations and communications.

  • Familiar with International Standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, OCIMF, NFPA, IEC, NEC, ISA, IP, Singapore Standards, Code of Practice, etc.

  • Comfortable using  MS Projects, Visio, AutoCAD and DWG TrueViewer.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.

  • Good business writing skills.
